The SMA are delighted to announce that we were successful in bidding to host the 34th International Congress of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy. The conference organised by the International Society of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy is held every 2 years and has recently been held in Perth, Australia with Istanbul in Turkey being awarded the 2024 conference. This will be a major undertaking for the SMA and work has already begun with event bodies to aid our organising efforts to bring the conference to Glasgow in 2026.
